For the past few years, I've been experiencing various health issues--mostly the type that pop up as one gets older. In addition, I've had some health issues from a life of athletics (tennis, golf, swimming, high-impact aerobics, and weight training). In particular, I developed severe foot pain. On top of that, like most people, I don't always eat properly to get all the recommended food groups to maintain good health. So, in addition to my foot pain, I was experiencing fatigue, sugar cravings, and weight increase from a slowing metabolism.
My foot pain was diagnosed as Morton's Neuroma--a neuroma is a non-cancerous (benign) growth of nerve tissue that can develop in various parts of the body. The condition causes a sharp, burning pain in the ball of my right foot. Besides that, my toes alternate between stinging, burning, and feeling numb. I tried a number of home remedies, but none of them worked.
In early May 2006, I had a cortisone injection, and it only relieved some of the pain for a little less than a week. I was completely discouraged. Having tried "everything," I was facing the inevitability of surgery to cut the nerve, just so that I'd be able to walk without pain.
In June of 2006, I began taking Essential Seven and within three days I started seeing positive changes, most noticeably a drastic improvement in my foot pain. Now after only a short time taking Essential Seven, I have virtually no foot pain during my daily activities. The only time I do experience a little pain is when I am playing golf. The downward swing and turning on the ball of my foot still cause a slight numbness. Thankfully, it doesn't last long. Best of all, I no longer need to have surgery!
I'm beginning to notice several other improvements in my overall health as well. I have much more energy. After about 3 weeks on Essential Seven my sugar cravings diminished, I've been more “regular,” lost some weight, and gained muscle. Even my golf drive has improved!
